FROM A WORKSHOP ON COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE
December 2001 KnowledgeBoard - The Objective of the
workshop was to introduce the concept of communities of
practice understand how to launch a community answer specific
questions about communities in the European context. The
workshop was organised by Anne Jubert and Paul Hearn from the
KM team of the European Commission’s IST Programme and held
by Richard McDermott/McDermott Consulting. It was attended by
more than 50 participants from industry, consultancies,
academia and the European Commission.
